[hi play the above track as you read this]
Birthdays have always felt special to me: chaotic, overwhelming, but always full of love by being surrounded by people that I care about. Growing up, I’d call 70 people to our Haveli for Power Rangers or Ramayan-themed parties.

At BITS, that turned into 50 people lining up for birthday beatings in the hostel(GPL as its known xD) , a tradition that leaves your lower body sore and numb.

Recollecting all those memories, I found myself reflecting with gratitude on the people who have helped me grow in BITS in so many meaningful ways. From 2AM ideations to demoing prototypes at Regalia events, it’s a place that celebrates hustle.

Dualite, the name itself, is a BITSian slang for dual-degree students, which I connected to a duality between design and development in the tech world.
We feel that Dualite Alpha is a product that every BITSian undergrad can use to build a piece of software that creates sizable impact: the next Redbus, Postman or Swiggy. That’s why I’m really happy to share unlimited messages for Dualite Alpha on my birthday for all BITSian students for 30 days. You can fill up the form till 31st May from your active BITSian email ID, share proof, and then you can use the product to build really cool things for the next 30 days.
As I look back, it’s clear that the magic of BITS isn’t just in the campus or the beautiful palm trees — it’s in the people who turn ideas into action and chaos into something beautiful. This is our way of paying it forward, a small tribute to the culture that taught us to dream audaciously and build relentlessly. I genuinely can’t wait to see what all of you create — scrappy projects, polished products, or maybe the next big thing — because if there’s one thing BITSians do best, it’s turning the impossible into the inevitable.
Here’s to building, breaking, learning, and doing it all over again — together.
